THE ORIGINAL DAILY FIVE

LESS CHAOS. MORE INTENTION.

The Daily Five began with five simple practices I return to again and again.

They’re not about creating a perfect routine or becoming a different person overnight. They’re about bringing a little more awareness, discipline, gratitude, and intention into the life you’re already living.

Five practices. One intention. One day at a time.

LIVE AWAKE.

THE FIVE PRACTICES

Start with one. Practice it. See what changes.

01 — DO THE FIRST WIN

Begin the day by keeping one promise to yourself.

It doesn't have to be impressive. Make your bed. Drink some water. Stretch. Run. Meditate. Write. Pray.

The action matters—but keeping your word to yourself matters even more.

TRY THIS

Choose one small action you will complete every morning before the world starts asking things of you.

“I said I would, so I did.”

02 — ACTIVATE GRATITUDE

Before focusing on what’s missing, take a moment to recognize what’s already here.

Gratitude doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means remembering that your problems are not the whole story.

TRY THIS

Before reaching for your phone in the morning, name three things you’re grateful for.

Don’t just run through the list.

Pause long enough to actually feel them.

03 — INTAKE WITH INTENTION

What you consume doesn’t just pass through you. It becomes part of your internal environment.

Food. News. Social media. Music. Conversations. Entertainment. The people you spend time with.

It all counts.

TRY THIS

Before consuming something today, pause for a moment and ask:

“Is this feeding me or draining me?”

You don’t have to eliminate everything that isn’t perfect.

Just start noticing what you’re letting in.
